Das ging schnell. Seit Kurzem sind alle Tickets für die letzten drei Turniertage vom 3. bis zum 5. Juni ausverkauft. Doch kein Grund zum Trübsal blasen: Alle Tischtennis-Fans, die leer ausgegangen sind, können auch an den ersten Turniertagen Spitzen-Tischtennis sehen. Die Stars etwa steigen bereits am Mittwoch ein. Eintrittskarten bieten jedoch inzwischen nicht nur die offiziellen Stellen an, sondern auch sogenannte gewerbliche "Weiterverkäufer". In der Regel sind diese Tickets teurer, auf der sicheren Seite ist der Kunde trotz des Aufschlags nicht.

Solja: "Audience will push me"

This week, the 2016 Olympic Games suddenly came back in Petrissa Solja's mind. In Berlin, she was invited by the “Deutsche Sporthilfe” together with all German Rio-medallists for a big party. The next day, she and her team-mates received the award called "Silbernes Lorbeerblatt" for their merits in Rio from Federal President Joachim Gauck. Anyway, Rio is the past and there are only about 200 days to go until the first rallyes will be played at the 2017 LIEBHERR World Championships in Düsseldorf starting at end of May. We talked with "Peti" about the time after the Olympics and the way to her "home game", the 2017 WTTC.

For this huge event, the fairgrounds of Messe Düsseldorf will be converted into a small table tennis mecca with the centre court in hall 6 as its core.
