Any plans at the first days of June next year? Would you like to watch the best table tennis players in the world? Then you are welcome to visit the LIEBHERR 2017 World Championships in Düsseldorf from 29 May to 5 June. During 8 days of competition, there will be more than 700 tennis players from around the world at Messe Düsseldorf competing in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. For this huge event, the fairgrounds of Messe Düsseldorf will be converted into a small table tennis mecca with the centre court in hall 6 as its core. This "stadium" can accommodate around 8,000 spectators.

Tickets from 10 Euros

Tickets are available for all 8 days of competition in various categories. On the first 4 days, you can even sit in the best category for 10 Euros. Even on the final days the lowest ticket price in category 3 is 15 Euros. The season ticket for all 8 days is sold out since the end of November. All tickets can be purchased at ADticket, either online or in one of more than 2,500 ticket agencies in Germany. "Print@home" is possible of course, for the online payment you can chose between PayPal or credit card.

Free entrance for youngsters

Especially attractive for clubs and young people is the organizers’ so-called U18 offer. On the first 4 days, children and young people under 18 years have free admission. Please mind that – according to German protection of minors – all youngsters under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult who then has to buy a ticket for her- or himself. It is possible to have a group of children accompanied by 1 adult, their club coach for example.

All tickets include free use of public transport within the regional transport association called Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr (VRR). So all visitors who booked a hotel or live just a little away from the fair, can commute for free to venue and back.
