Please mind that official tickets for the LIEBHERR 2017 Table Tennis World Championships are sold only by three official parties. Unfortunately there are copycats who sell tickets for much higher prizes.

Tickets for the LIEBHERR 2017 Table Tennis World Championships are sold only by Deutscher Tischtennis-Bund e.V. (www.wttc2017.com and www.tischtennis.de), by ADticket GmbH (www.adticket.de and Reservix.de as well as their official ticket offices in Germany; for a complete list, please, click here) and by DTTB fan-travel partner Scharff Reisen.

By purchasing tickets from secondary salespeople such as Globaltickets and others, there is neither a legal claim against nor a legal relationship with Deutscher Tischtennis-Bund e.V.

Volunteers-Suche vorerst abgeschlossen

Die Suche nach freiwilligen Helferinnen und Helfern für die LIEBHERR Tischtennis-WM in Düsseldorf ist vorerst abgeschlossen. Mit dem Stichtag der Bewerbung, Bewerbungsfrist war der 15. Januar 2017, können die Organisatoren knapp 580 Bewerberinnen und Bewerber zählen. Rund 300 Volunteers werden für die größte Hallensport-Veranstaltung der Welt gesucht.

Solja: "Audience will push me"

This week, the 2016 Olympic Games suddenly came back in Petrissa Solja's mind. In Berlin, she was invited by the “Deutsche Sporthilfe” together with all German Rio-medallists for a big party. The next day, she and her team-mates received the award called "Silbernes Lorbeerblatt" for their merits in Rio from Federal President Joachim Gauck. Anyway, Rio is the past and there are only about 200 days to go until the first rallyes will be played at the 2017 LIEBHERR World Championships in Düsseldorf starting at end of May. Coach Roßkopf: "Don’t ever miss a home WTTC as a spectator!"

He used to live and professionally play in Düsseldorf for 16 years, matured in this period and became a world-class player. His home game, the LIEBHERR 2017 World Championships in Düsseldorf from 29 May to 5 June, will therefore be something "very special" to German men’s head coach Jörg Roßkopf. His advise for fans: Purchase your tickets early, and: "You simply mustn't ever miss home World Championships because a lot of surprises can happen there".
